Keral to opne Smart City

Kerala to go ahead with 'Smart City'
Thiruvananthapuram

Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan informed the Assembly that the LDF government would go ahead with the Smart City project in Kochi.

The state government has no plan to bring 'Big City' project in place of the Smart City, VS said.

Three other companies such as PWC Logistic, a Kuwait based firm and Emmar MGF, functioning in India and Dubai have also expressed their willingness to open IT parks in Kerala, said VS in a written reply to Professor KV Thomas (Cong) and others.

VS added that discussions with the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (Tcom) also was in progress.
